Introduction

A library app which connects users to their local library, allowing them to browse, search, reserve, borrow, read and engage with content all through one app.

Challenge

I’ve found that many e-library platforms tend to be user-unfriendly, presenting numerous pain points throughout the user journey.

The most common issue is the lack of responsiveness in the app—pages often load slowly or fail to display content properly, leading to frustration. Additionally, the navigation can be clunky and unintuitive, making it difficult for users to find the materials they need efficiently.

These challenges often result in a frustrating and time-consuming experience for users, hindering their ability to engage with digital resources effectively.

Solution

A library app designed to seamlessly enhance user interaction with library resources. The app will allow users to engage with content in an intuitive and enjoyable manner. By streamlining these processes, the app will increase user engagement and foster a deeper connection with library offerings.

Additionally, the app will prioritise accessibility features to ensure it is usable by a diverse range of users, including those with varying abilities and technological access.

This inclusive approach will help broaden the app's reach and create a more equitable experience for all users, encouraging a wider demographic to take advantage of library resources.
